We are verymuch delighted to speak about Chaitanya Bharathi a non political and non profit making voluntary development organization Registered Under Societies Registration Act XXI 1860 on 7th December 1991 to work towards the betterment of the downtrodden sections of the society in Vizianagaram District, Andhra Pradesh. A number of initiatives have been taken at various levels and in the process it demonstrates, its efficacy and usefulness.
Right from the inception Chaitanya Bharathi interventions have mainly focused on Education, Health, Awareness generation on HIV/AIDS and |
STD, Natural Resource Management, Eradication of Child Labour, Rehabilitation of Distressed Women, Youth Development, Women Empowerment, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, Community Forest Management, Environment and Sustainable Development, Disabled People Welfare and Fishermen Welfare. Chaitanya Bharathi recognizes, prioritizes the needs and aspirations of the communities in the target areas by respecting their culture, customs without any disparity of sex, caste, creed and emerged as a service oriented organization. Chaitanya Bharathi strongly believes that awareness generation and educating the community are keys to bring changes in the community for their self reliance in all aspects.
Chaitanya Bharathi is deeply grateful to the donors and Government authorities for their valuable guidance in designing, implementation of various projects and its activities with time and again monitoring and feed back which elated us a lot for the cause of the community.
Chaitanya Bharathi got a team of dedicated, committed, experienced social workers not only for comprehensive planning process but also for effective functioning of the systems to achieve the established goals in an efficient manner. The stupendous progress and creative contributions of Chaitanya Bharathi mirrors in a manner which helps to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the community to a larger extent.
We have laid the milestone to empower the community basing on the ideas of enlightenment, enrichment and empowerment of the community working together for their self reliance. We are confident that the strength of Chaitanya Bharathi will gain great momentum in the coming years and the value addition for the relentless efforts will be tellingly demonstrated. We do hope that the efforts made by Chaitanya Bharathi in collaboration with funding partners will be received well by the community and gives tremendous opportunity to illuminate their lives.
It is in this perspective Chaitanya Bharathi is ceaselessly looking forward for forging links with funding partners, funding agencies, donors, government and NGO’s to pave the way for the development of the vulnerable sections of the society at the bottom levels.
