Chaitanya Bharathi is a registered Non Governmental Organisation working for the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and other Backward Community people of the Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh since 1991. Chaitanya Bharathi means “Chaitanya” stands for Generating awareness among all communities and “Bharathi” stands for the aspirations and hopes of the organization to extend its services though out India.

It is actively involved in various programmes like Livelihood Promotion through initiation of handloom digital empowerment(ReWeave) centres in Telanagana, Child labour eradication, rehabilitation, Youth development, women Development, Health and sanitation, safe drinking water and community forest management programmes in the villages for the socio-economic development of the disadvantaged people of the vizianagaram district. Chaitanya Bharathi had a programme based approach to improve the living standard of the marginilised sections of the community in different mandals of Vizianagaram District.

It is a secular, non political and non profit making voluntary development organization working for a change in the community and established in the year 1991 under the leadership of Mr.K.Manmadha Rao a committed social worker of repute. The organization is dealing with Swadhar Shelter Home and Helpline supported by Women and Child Welfare Dept. Ministry of HRD,GOI New Delhi,Short Stay Home, Family Counselling centre, CRECHE centres supported by Central Social Welfare Board, GOI, New Delhi, NCLP Project. Supported by Ministry of Labour, GOI, New Delhi and WE CLEAR Project supported by KKS, Germany.
